Amid reports that gangster Anmol Bishnoi, the alleged key conspirator in the murder of former MLA Baba Siddique, may soon be extradited to India, Zeeshan Siddique on Tuesday confirmed that his family had received an email stating that Bishnoi had been removed from the United States.
However, Zeeshan said there was still no clarity on whether the gangster, accused of plotting his father’s killing, would be brought to India or to another country. He urged the Governments of India and Maharashtra to follow up on the matter, calling Bishnoi a threat to society.

Zeeshan said he wants the gangster brought to Mumbai, where he should be interrogated and action should be taken against him.
According to reports, Bishnoi’s deportation proceedings have been completed, and a team of Indian officials will soon bring him to India.
Mumbai Police have named Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, as the main conspirator behind the murder of Baba Siddique. Siddique was shot dead by assailants near Zeeshan’s office in Bandra, Mumbai.
The shooters fired six rounds, three of which struck him. Police said Zeeshan was also a target but narrowly escaped.
Anmol Bishnoi was also allegedly involved in the firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence last year.
He was arrested by US law enforcement authorities in November last year and has been lodged at the Pottawattamie County Jail in Iowa since then.
